strawberry oatmeal swirl I promise I am not trying to be some awesome foodie chef blogger person. I posted this on my twitter and facebook last week and this is the easiest recipe for a really good dessert, ever. It will amaze you how easy it is. You'll need: a punnet of strawberries (or even better, buy frozen raspberries), oatmeal cookies or just any cookies really, and crush them up in a bag with a rolling pin, sugar and ice cream. So the night before, wash, dry, remove the green tops and freeze about 15ish strawberries.
Chuck them in a blender with about two tablespoons of castor sugar.
Blend it until its a sorbetty texture (awkward focus but yeah you get the point :P).
Scoop it out into glasses and layer it up with the following: sorbet, ice cream, cookies, sorbet, ice cream, coookies. Assemble quickly otherwise the sorbet will melt. I left the sorbet for about 30 minutes before returning and it turned all gloopy so don't do that :D (oh and ignore the messy bench |:|)
