a formal affair So on Friday, we had our formal! To be honest, it wasn't the best night of my life, I'd have preferred semi over this but it was good. I think I was actually more excited for post-post at Grace's than for the formal itself, but you know, I love her and yeah! 0930: Met up at Pam's and her Mum too us to get hair done at Co Ly's (it was so cheap and so good). Didn't get the sides of my hair right though :( it was supposed to look like this on the side: 
Buuuuuuut it didn't. Anyways, the hairdresser kept telling me how my hair was so thick and heavy and healthy that she couldn't do an updo so it was like an updo but not up I have no idea how to explain it. Looked like this in the end:
1130: We went back to Pam's and got picked up by Tony. He dropped us off at Queens Plaza and I was going to buy a skirt for post at Princess Polly but they sold out TT_TT. So bought a crossover wrap top instead. Anyways, got make up done and holy crap Cindy and Pam looked gorgeous! Initially we thought the make up artist was crap but she wasn't too bad actually :D
We had $225 to spend so we redeemed:
1410: Went to buy fashion tape and Tony's cobra/viper/snake necklace. SOOO FUNNY Cindy entered in the credit card pin incorrectly like five times HAHAHAHA.
1440: Got picked up by Tony and Pam's make up started melting in the car so he blasted on the aircon HAHA. Got ready and then the guys arrived and it was awkward cause we didn't have time to get our nails done so they just had to scrub off my navy nail polish and the guys were just waiting outside. Saw our baby, Charles and fell in love at first sight:
1600: Left for pre at Brisbane Powerhouse/New Farm Park. Charles is the slowest car ever so when we got to speed bumps it was like EVERYONE, BRACE YOURSELVES! Anyways we were quite early and the photographer we hired was all like YO LET'S DO SOME COUPLE SHOTS. And so we did. And then we took heaps of photos and yeah :)
        
1730: Left for formal. Crazily honked our horn at people which was cute cause it sounded like Charles was a sick little car that sneezed hahaha. Waved to like a tonne of people and Steve got a handshake from a dude at the traffic lights saying he 'felt nostalgic' awwwww :') Anyways, we made an epic entrance because Ms. Francis was all like, noo they're not here for the formal they're here for a wedding, then we stepped out LOL :')
     
TONY CAME FOR US. I LOVE HIM SO MUCH <3<3<3
AND GRACE TOO. I love her so much :')
    
1900: Formal starts. SO MUCH PHOTO TAKING AND DANCING AND EATING. AND stepping on dresses and fashion taping and hair pinning and lipstick retouching and face blotting and more camwhoring and photo taking. :') Everybawdy was so beautiful!

2300: Formal was over! Ran outside and took a few photos with Grace and then outside to hail a cab. I am thee coolest cab hailer. Anyways we took a cab with Reece to Carly's for the post woop :) photos from Bri's facebook
Beer pong. Tony went crazy and got drunk so fast. Then Liam was like, I bet you can't do a backflip. And then Tony got ready and moved chairs and stuff and it was so scary T____T

Towards the end we found out that there were non-alcoholic jelly shots and Lucas found them for us. Then everyone was like OMFG THEY HAVE ALCO IN THEM OMFG. WHAT ARE YOU DOING? cause everyone knew Pam and I don't drink. But s'all good there was no alco in them :') aww considerate people making non-alcoholic shots :') anyways a lot of weirdness happened at the post but as they say, what happens at the post, stays at the post.

0200: Took a cab to Grace's. Man taking cabs are fun because we found out so many things about our cab drivers. The one who took us to Grace's was sooo cute. He wants to open an Indian Restaurant since there were no good ones in the country and everything and he was so adorable dhasldhsaf :') Got to Grace's at 0230am and then waited outside cause she wasn't home from Andonis' yet.
Spent the night:
   
Wow we look so bogan. HAHA Grace and I are wearing random thongs we found.
  Five girls on the floor with five colourful sleeping bags and Grace on her bed. Slept at around 6am and woke up at around 11am to Grace's mum making breakfast. She is so lovely! 
Me so hot. I actually don't look derped out after waking up *knuckles.
Finished off our blood orange drinks and snacks and went home at around 3pm.
This is the longest post ever. Hope y'all enjoyed reading this and have a lovely holiday (studying if you're in year 12, hopefully).
