bonne fête des mères

So today was Mother's Day! Happy Mother's Day everybawdy! Woke up at 7am and cleaned up the house a bit. Got Dad to drive me to the grocery store to buy ingredients to make eggs benedict for breakfast for my mother. This time round, the egg poaching was quite bad and my sister and I wasted four eggs because we didn't swirl the water properly and the egg broke :( All in all it tasted amazing though (yeah, we made ourselves breakfast with the leftovers). We bought her a huge ginormous candle from Mecca Maxima and it smelt like flowers and cutesey mumsy stuff. Not going to lie, it was the most expensive candle I've ever seen/purchased @@.

1. Getting ready to go out for youth farewell dinner
2. Breakfast my dad made me last week (scrambled eggs on olive toast)
3. Pam's mud cake, Chindee's banana cake, my milk custard.

Was reminiscing and found this. Something Grace made when Hall emailed everyone threatening us that we were going to go on an emu parade around the school because the level of litter was despicable. Ohhh cracked me up for a good 5 minutes when I got it.

Anyways, I'm off to bed seeing as though we have school tomorrow :(
