a faith that hasn't been tested can't be trusted - Adrian Rogers Yoyoyo went out today that is sorta worth mentioning about. Muc Su Nhan, a pastor from Vietnam came over and my dad took him out to the city and since I needed to buy pressies there, I tagged along with Beck and Thanh. Excuse the crappy quality photos. iPhone says it all :/ Went to GoMA first, and saw this. Oh GoMA, you know me too well! I didn't take many pics here idk why :/ and I couldn't find the children's exhibition T_T soooo cut. Then we went to Kadoya and Thanh and I got Chicken Katsu bento box and beck got Tokyoudon (above) whilst my dad and Mr. Nhan got Beef curry. Mmmmmmmm it was soooo good! Then we proceeded to go to three different churches, the first of these being Albert Street Church which everyone has probably been to seeing as though its the gingerbread house looking one :) The guy was super nice and the church is so pretty and old. Then we walked about 4-5 blocks more to St. John's Cathedral. Amazingly I didn't like die or anything on the walk, even though usually at home I am too lazy to walk outside my room.... Dad HAHAHAHA. Its freaking amazing, it's like a giant palace/castle :D The people who greeted us asked what language we spoke and my dad was like "Vietnamese" and they didn't have any Vietnamese brochures so the man was like, "how about French?" And then he started speaking in French and we had a little conversation LOL :3 Me taking what seems like one of those OOTD photos haha. Outside the tiny study chapel. It was awesome, each seat had a cushion with a picture on it and each set of three seats in the chapel had a story to it. :3 The Prayer Chapel that is open and most like, business men and stuff or workers come here during their breaks to pray and everything. There were a lot of business men who came to pray during lunchtime. When I first walked in here, I was like omg all the pews are so cute they have different cushions on them! Then when we were sitting down I realised that each cushion was from a different church from around the world. Most of them were from local sister/brother churches in Australia though :) Here are a few that were on the pew I was sitting on :D This photo won't behave and align properly D: The ceiling is amazing :D The upper section of the cathedral had all these wooden pews that I think are reserved for the choir or more important people, and the seats and decor were hand carved and everything was so intricate, it was so beautiful! At the very front (or back you could say) of the cathedral :D Candle for prayer. Then we went to St. Andrews Church but I didn't take any photos because I forgot D: And, I DIDN'T KNOW THERE WAS A MAIN ENTRANCE FOR CENTRAL STATION. All this time I've been using the underground paths and the side entrances :/ Anyways, so after that we went shopping and ate and then went to Southbank for a bit, before going home :) BAI! |
